After a nice relaxing bath which is suppose to calm a child, she is cheeky as ever and full of energy....go figure!

Curious Who?

The weather being as cold as it is we decided that today the 3 of would go and see Curious George . It was a cute movie, Megan enjoyed it. It wasn't what Ken and I expected but then again I don't know what we did expect......George was so cute I'm looking forward to finding a stuffed one on the shelves....I'm a kid at heart really.

Wow what a movie....

Tonight Kena dn I watched the movie Million Dollar Baby and I have to say I really enjoyed it....it wasn't what I expected at all, and the end of the movie tore at my heart strings.....because if you know me the ending of this movie brought back a lot of memories for Ken and I....I have it if anyone hasn't seen it and wants to borrow it.

Dinner was Good

Tonight Ken, Megan and I went to dinner at The Keg, we were there for 3 hours and Megan was a good as gold....we ran into people Ken knew, that he worked for when he first came to live here....they remembered him because of what a good worker he was and wondered if he was still working in the same industry still as they are looking for someone....needless to say it was a nice compliment for Ken but since we run our own show he's not interested.

Can't believe it!

I went to work yesteerday so so sick, my eyes were red and swollen, my nose was running I was awful....it was a bad cold....funny thing is I went out to lunch with a couple of friends from work and I had greasy fish and chips, and we couldn't believe it how better I was after eating lunch.....I don't know but maybe I needed some unhealthy food or something (since I've been on a diet).....today I feel a lot better still a bit stuffy but nothing like Thursday and Friday morning.

Teamwork!

Today we had a storm...I was sick so I stayed home with Megan....when Daddy came home he took Megan out to shovel the snow/ice....I had to take a few pictures of the teamwork before going to rest some more.

Snow Day....Cold Day

Today was a snow day for Megan at school, and it was a good thing really as I feel terrible....just a bad cold I know and it's been a long time coming...I've been wrapped up in so many other things that once everything calmed down in flew the cold....anyway off to rest!

All Booked!

We're all booked up for our vacation....we can't wait to get some fun in the sun......where are we going? Cuba! We've been to Cuba before but not this resort....we stayed somewhere else about 8 years ago, Cuba was great the hotel wasn't, so we thought we'd go back there and try it again! We'll let you know how it was.

Ever Wonder?

Do you ever wonder what makes people tick? Why people do the things they do? Some people think that it's money that will make them happy! Some think that material possesions will make them happy! It's Official....

Goes to the Pittsburgh Steelers......they won over the Seattle Seahawks 21-10....I was disappointed, but not surprised.....what I was surprised with was the half-time show....The Rolling Stones....maybe it was the fact that I was on my couch but they sounded terrible, and it wasn't as good as many other years......oh welll farewell to another season of the NFL!

The New Hospital

This morning we went out for breakfast and onthe way we drove down our old street where we used to live....at the end of our old street is the reason we actually moved, and here it is the new Brampton Hospital.

After dinner the weather was still terrible....raining and here the girls were playing in the rain....I remember doing things like this when I was a kid......their creating memories!

Ground Hog Day!

Megan was really excited to go to school today, she was excited because they were going to be talking about Wiarton Willy.....well when I picked her up from school today she showed me her project she made for "Ground Hog Day"....it was a paper Ground Hog on a popsicle stick which she could move in and out of a styrafoam cup.....and she had a song to go with it to, it goes to the tune of "I'm a little teapot", and it goes like this: I'm a little Ground Hog Furry & Brown, I'll pop up to look around. When I see my shadow oh uh oh, six more weeks of winter and snow.........but she was happy to say he didn't see his shadow and spring is just around the corner.
