So Long Weekend!

Today with the weather being so nice I finally got most of the windows cleaned inside and out.....just need to get the ones in the front 2nd floor done, but Ken will have to do those.

This morning Ken and Megan went for a bike ride while I went to do groceries, then I came home to an empty home...it was only empty long enough to put the groceries away and tidy the kitchen. The day went by fast and the weekend is basically over.....but chin up there's only 4 days this week....YAHOO!

Our First Poker Night!

We went to Daniela's Mom and Dads tonight and played Poker. We had never played it before. We had a fantastic time playing and spending time with an awesome bunch of people. We can't wait for the next time!

The kids had a good time tonight while we played poker....it was a late night for them....especially Matteo...they all got along good....such great kids!

A Great Skate!

We went to see Alisia skate today in a skate show.....if your wondering who Alisia is, she's babysat for us a few times (Megan simply adores her) and she is also Daniela & Kevins niece. She was fantastic, and we could see by her face she simply loves to skate. She's a wonderful young lady and I'm glad my daughter looks up to her as much as she does (gotta get Meg to see her more!).....what a Great Skate Alisia!

Today Megan started her Adavnce Kinder Gym.....she shouldn't have started at home first.....he he....she had a great time, did a lot of new things like rope climbing which she really enjoyed. 

Night With Friends...Finally!

Tonight we went to dinner with our friends Laurie, Jay, Dylan and Jessica we hadn't seen them in ages.....we had a nice dinner and then back to our place were the girls plyed together, and Dylan lpayed Pole Position on the TV.....it was great "Finally" getting together. 

It's Been a Long Week

This week has taken so long to get to the end of.....but when is it the end of a week? The next week starts to quick.....wouldn't it be great if we worked Saturdays and Sundays and had Monday through Friday off??? I guess not eh.....then I wouldn't be able to spend anytime with my girl because school would still be Monday through Friday......has this week made me feel like this because of the time change? Who knows, nobody will every know.......gotta run!

Now I Do Like Him!

Well after watching yet another episode of The Apprentice I have to say that I really liked Bryce he was well put together. He admitted that he wasn't very creative for this task, however he was able to pull that team together to work as one and use the many talents (or lack of talent) to the best. What I did like was his drive and not back down to Trump. He didn't treat Trump like he was someone to run and hide from. He stood for what he believed in which was excellent. Trump never makes comments after he's fired someone and this time he told Bryce that he'll go far!

On another note: Did you see the section where Donald says his words of wisdom? "Command Respect"? This was great! He said if you can't get respect from your employess you need to find another job!

A Decision...

As I sit here typing this I have made a decision my daughter will not be playing the drums.

You might ask why are you thinking of such a thing? Well I'll tell you........a kid across the street is playing them (along with his band) with the windows open.....I figure the parents must have hearing problems as all my windows and doors are closed and I can still hear it. It it 9:47 pm and I think it is a bit late for it. I realize he is older but close your windows!!! Thank goodness my child sleeps through it. What can you do without offending people about loud disturbing noises like this? I guess if it was good music I probably wouldn't mind.....please offer up your suggestions!

Spring Forward???

Oh whoever say "Spring" forward must be crazy....I have no spring a lost an hour and I feel it, so there is no "Spring" in my step! Yeah, yeah so we have light later, that's great I love it, but I also love my hour, and I have to wait all the way until October just to get it back, can you believe it? I'll be okay, it should just take a week to feel normal again, whatever that is?

Finally A Visit with our friends...

Today we headed north to visit our friends whowe haven't had a long enough visit since the beginning of December.....how bad is this? I just gave my goddaughter her Christmas presents.....actually it was quite fun....Christmas in April (LOL). We started out by meeeting at a play place and then we went back to their place. It was nice to Finally get time spent with them....we miss them a ton when we haven't seen them in a while.

Later on we went out to dinner along with our other friends we hardly ever see (Sue, Owen, Tyler and Jessica), it was great to them as well...Megan thinks the world of her Uncle Owen, especially when he takes her to the dessert bar!!!! After dinner we went back to the Semkowski's and relaxed, we didn't stay too late as we were so tired....hopefully next time!

Advancing.....

Today Megan was recommened to move to the Advanced Kindergym which will now be an hour and a half class. She really enjoys it and is doing well, she's looking forward to her extra half hour a week.
