The Wedding Party!

Blurrrrrrrr

Saturday was a complete blurrrrr.....it started out at 7 am when I started making pasta salad for that night's Buck N Doe...then we had to be at a soccer game at 9 am...then onto a parade at 11am......gymnastics starts at 11:30 am which we arrived 15 minutes late for......got a quick bite to eat before heading to Costco to get a bunch of stuff for the Buck N Doe...ran around for a cake since it was all messed up at Costco...finally arrived home to get ready at 4 pm (had to be at Buck n Doe location for 5pm)....after getting ready headed to the party shop for balloons then onto the Buck N Doe arrived to set up 20 minutes later then scheduled....all in all it was a busy day but seemed to get it all fit in one way or another!

Weekend Away!

This weekend we went away to Buffalo.....yes we went for shopping (at least I did) and relaxation....which to me means all the same thing. Anyway, we had a great time. Saturday the sun was shining not a cloud in the sky and the temperature was 32 degrees. We had a hotel that had an indoor/outdoor pool so Saturday afternoon we spent the time lounging and swimming.....it was relaxing!

A Bear Named Lilac!

This weekend Megan finally (I say finally because she has wanted to do this for sometime) got to make her own bear at "Build A Bear"! Well here she is with her new friend Lilac......can you tell she's a happy little girl. If you don't know this already she loves teddy bears so you can imagine how she felt when she finally got to do this!

Reconnecting!

We reconnected today with a friend and her family who I went to school with....I reconnectde with her through Facebook. She was always someone I enjoyed being around in school and there is no different feeling today. We had a great time, and glad she could make it. It was wonderful to meet her family. Thanks for coming! :)

Suited Up!

Grade 1 Chapel

Today Ken and I were able to attend Megan's Grade 1 chapel....we got to see her class preform a play and several songs, it was wonderful to see how much the kids have grown this year at school. We then went back to her classroom where we had lunch with all her friend, their parents and the teacher! It was an awesome day!!!

Ligament!

Well my husband has been off work for a week now from what the Doctor's say is a pulled ligament. He is anti-inflammatorys and had a wrist brace on. He is also on blood pressure medication as the anti-inflammatory's are not good for his vasculitis disease. So we are going back to the doctor tomorrow night to have it checked again. It is really getting him down, because if any of you know my husband he hates to sit idle!

Dinner & Fix It!

Today we went to our friends Eldon & Yvonne's house for dinner. Ken & Eldon put Yvonne's new faucet in and Ken rolled a new screen so the cat can't get out. I helped Yvonne learn a bit more about her computer, and well Megan played with the cat "Cupid" It was a great night! Thanks guys!

Great Company!

Today we had Michelle and her son Austin over for dinner. Megan and Austin played.....we don't get to see them as often as we'd like to but the kids started playing like no time had gone by. The weather was good, good food and good company....and overall great day!

Goodbye Doris

Today we said good-bye to:

BROADBRIDGE, (nee Procter) Doris Edith May who passed away on Friday May 11, 2007 at the age of 60 from a courageous battle with cancer at Peel Memorial Hospital.

Mother Nature

Mother Nature through a storm our way tonight......lots of rain.....and even

more hale.....Megan thought it was cool......the hale was cold, and the pieces were large....

then then rain kept pouring down, eventually flooding the streets....the drains couldn't keep up

with what Mother Nature was throwing at them............

Soccers Starting Soon

Tonight we went and met Meg's new coach, adn got her new jersey, shorts, socks and ball. She just has the Jersey on here....next photos she be in full gear....she is so excited about soccer!

Oh Mother's Day!

Mother's Day is always a hard day for me, I sure do miss my Mom (Happy Mother's Day Mom)....but I'm a Mom so I need to kep my chin up, so I got to spend my day with my girl. I got breakfast in bed, watched Coronation Street, then planted some flowers. After that we went abougth more flowers and to Baskin and Robbins, then back home to plant some more. Then Ken made my supper Lobster and Caeser Salad, and to top the day off the Survivor Finale! It was a nice Mother's Day with the ones I love!

A Sad Day

Today I was on the phone with my friend Heather, while we were on the phone a call came through to say her Mom was rushed to hospital, for those of you who don't know her Mom (Doris) had cancer. Heather and Jeff rushed down to the hospital where her Mom was taken too. Despite the fighting Doris had been doing over the past months she passed away at 11:50 pm. This is such a sad day for my friend, she lost her Dad in March and now her Mom....it's going to be hard for my friend, I know, but with the support and love that surrounds her she will get through this, please pray for her.

A Day At The Park With a Friend!

Today Megan and I picked up Elanna on our way home from gymnastics and then picked up McDonalds for both of them for lunch, then they played outside on Megan's swingset, made wooden beaded necklaces, plad lawn darts (beanbags), had an ice cream from the ice cream truck and off to the park near house. They had a blast together, these girls are like 2 peas is a pod.
