Finally Done

Tonight we had to take out Megan's braids she had done in Jamaica, she went from the top pictures to the bottom in 3.5 hours....oh my goodness what a long job that was!!!!

1st Gymnastic Competition

Today was Megan's 1st every gymnastics competition, there were a lot fo gymnasts there.....it was from 1 pm to 5:30 pm (a long day)...after her routines on the uneven basrs, vault, beam abd floor overall she came 2nd earning her a silver medal!!!! She came 1st on the floor, and 2nd on the uneven bars, vault & beam! Way To Go Megan!!!

Megan and Ken started to tackle our spare bedroom, I haven't liked the colour of it since we moved in almost 4 years ago, but as you do hold off the least important until a later date....Megan was so excited to learn that she was going to paint with her Daddy....can't you tell from her grin ear to ear on the last picture.....they have started with the primer and Megan was doing an excellent job!

Megan had her best friend Elanna over today for a visit.....they got into her play make-up and that is why the pinkish eyebrows....little girls!!!

We went to visit Leigh & James's new arrival.....Abigail.......this is her and her big brother Brenden. It was great to see everyone. megan got to play with Brenden as well as hold baby Abigail, uch to her delight!

Aunt Jessie

Today we had a call that Ken's Aunt Jessie passed away. She was a wonderful lady that we all loved. A year ago she lost her one leg to diabetes and she was a high spirited lady who didn't let that get her down. In the end it was her old age that took her life, she had a long life, and a big family. We will miss her! Rest in Peace Aunt Jessie!

If the face doesn't give it away, maybe the 2nd place award around her neck does.......Megan came in 2nd place today and the 1st and 2nd place move onto the finals at the ACSI.....we are so very proud of her! Way to go Megan!!!!!!

In Class Poem Competition

Megan had her in class competition today at school for her poem she had to memorize and say with expression, she was one of the children picked to go in front of the school for the next level....wish her luck!

Snow, snow & more snow

So it was snow week...well a few snow days.....Megan had school cancelled on Wednesday and Thursday this week....lucky her.....we have a ton of snow.....30cm or more

A Relaxing Night!

The Semkowski's came over and spent the night, and what a great night it was. The next morning we went out for breakfast. It was great to spend some quality time with them!

We played darts and what fun that was, that middle picture was actually Sean's shot!

Make-Up????

While we were playing darts, Thelma & Louise got into some "play" make-up.....I hope their make-up applications are toned down when they are a lot older! :)
