2 Weeks Past????

Where have the past 2 weeks gone??? I haven't blogged in a while. What I have I been up to I'm not to sure.......besides work (and I mean work), and being a soccer Mom I can't be sure what's held me back from blogging.....so I've back dated what I think has been going on.

A Wedding Shower

On the 18th I had a wedding shower at my house for the Bride to Be "Heather" It was a great day, good food, good company and a lot of laughs!

Anniversary Dinner...

We went out for our 11th wedding anniversary to The Keg, the 3 of us went, yes we took Megan. It was a nice night out. Ken bought me a beautiful sapphire bracelet and for his bar I bought him 3 bar stools (on order, still not received) :(

11 Years!

11 Years today we were married....so much has happened in those years! I can remember it like it was yesterday....thinking back to that day and the memories it made for us, how special. Happy Anniversary Ken! XXOO

Poor Bird

Well after our efforts the little bird passed away....Megan was so sad...it broke my heart to see her so upset.

Little Bird!

We have this bird house that every year birds make a nest in, this baby bird fell out of the bird house and now the Mommy bird isn't coming to help it....so our little girl feels like she's it's Mommy now....so we have one of her toy containers, and some napkins in it to make it comfy but then we had to feed it, so Megan and Daddy went through the garden gathering bugs so the poor little thing could eat, so Megan went and got the tweezers (I'll have to buy new ones) and then they fed her. Now w have used screen cloth to cover the container, and put it under a small table to avoid any rain fall (if there is any) and now she is sleeping....if anyone doesn't know that Megan has always said she wants to be when she grows up it's a Vet and I think she would be spectacular at it (I am bias)....she has the heart to care for animals, but she might have to big a heart because it would break if anything happens to them.....wish us luck in trying to help this little bird!

Happy 7th Birthday Megan!

We can't believe that 7 years ago today our little bundle of joy was born....and she is just that a bundle of joy. All the things she says and does to make us laugh and smile. Happy Birthday to our little girl, we love you XXOO

Happy 5th Birthday Ashleigh!

We went to Barrie today to celebrate Ashleigh's 5th Birthday! It was a great day. Megan enjoyed herself bowling.

Happy 7th Birthday Jessica!

It was Megan's friend Jessica's 7th Birthday Party today. It was a great time. The kids swam until late then played until later. The weather was perfect!!!!

We're Back!

Megan and I are back from England! We had a wonderful time! The picture as you can see was our visit to the Cadbury factory! We missed Ken like crazy and glad we're back home with him. This was the first and last time Megan and I will go away without him.

4th One!

Today Megan lost another tooth (her forth)...she was so excited again!

Last Day Of June!!!!

Can you believe it is the last day of June? Me neither! Over the past week Megan has been in camp since her school finished a week ago, she's really enjoyed it. I picked her report card up on Thursday and we were very proud of our little girl who will be going into Grade 2 in September. She came out with 6 A+'s, 5 A's & a B+, Megan was proud of her A+ but when I said "A" & "B+" she wasn't so excited, she is obviously hard on herself, we on the other hand were extremley happy and wonder who she takes after for that because I can assure you it's neither of us!!!!

Lunch At Our Friends!

Today we went to have lunch at our friends The Mackenzies. We hadn't been to their place since December so it was a long time over due. It was great. It was hot, hot, hot in their backyard, but I will not complain because winter comes to fast in Canada. Megan was sad to leave their place as she loves them to bits. We hope to get together again sooner next time! Thanks guys it was great!!!

Bee Careful!!

Today we were in the backyard when all of a sudden this swarm of bees came out of nowhere........

they kept coming and coming, we ran into our mesh cover and watched as they started to land...

onto a tree in our backyard, the other neighbours were out since the noise of these bees were loud.....

here in the tree they have stopped, hundreds upon hundreds of bees protecting there Queen. So needless to say we needed to "BEE" careful today!
