THE FOREVER YOUNG'S - We married in August 1996 to start the Youngs...added our little miracle girl in July 2000.....We three are what make up "THE FOREVER YOUNG'S". We are a family that devotes our time to "FAMILY TIME"......every moment is a cherished one!
Can you believe it she finished her last day of school.....our baby is growing up....JK is finished. Seems like just yesterday we were busy buying her uniform, sorting out busing and after school care. She had a fantastic year! She's an SK girl now!
Today Megan had her un-birthday at school....that's what she called it. Since her birthday is in the middle of summer they give her a little party at school. We sent in a cake and plates for the kids to have, they made her a birthday hat and gave her a stuffed animal. She had a wonderful day!
I came back from Ireland today, the travelling was a nightmare. The flight was delayed 3.5 hours so I waited around Dublin airport for ages. We finally took off and had to land in Shannon Ireland to drop off people and pick more up, but in the meantime we had to get off the airplane so they could clean it and prepare for our journey. After we took off we landed in Toronto only to find a strike was on and that our gate to arrive at was not ready since another aircraft was in it. They were waiting for passengers that were held up in the Taxi strike at the airport. We sat on the aircraft for an hour.....all I wanted was to get off to see Ken and Megan who I missed so much. When I finally walked through, there they were Ken and Megan running to give me a hug and flowers.....they sure missed me as much as I missed them.
Megan and Ken went out for breakfast today! Then they spent the day at Canada Wonderland! They had a wonderful time, they said the only thing that was missing was me! I missed them so much over this weekend and couldn't wait to get home to them. Happy Fathers Day Ken! You are #1!
Dublin Ireland June 2005 - I had a fantastic time in Dublin this weekend. I went and surprised my cousin who is getting married. I am her maid of honor, & she was really surprised, we had a wonderful time. The weather was warm, we did a sightseeing tour, and did some shopping which we do best together.
More pictures of Dublin 2005......what a great time! Cheers for the beide-to-be!
I finally did it, finished a good book. It was quite a humourous book it was called "Confessions of a Shopaholic" by Sophie Kinsella. This was the first book of a seris, so I'll start the next one. It's hard to find time to sit down and read. I never really enjoyed reading but have been trying to find a book that would interest me. I'll keep you posted on the next book as well, I'm sure it will be just as good as the first.
Well she's done it....Megan has passed her Level 1 at gymnastics. Her report card said "Megan does very well all around. She tries hard and always does her best." She stood on a podium and posed for a picture (which I don't have yet!) She was so excited to wear her badge. After gymnastics we went to a family fun fair in Etobicoke for our friends son school, we had a great time but it was extremly hot. There were firefighters there and they soaked the crown with the hose Megan loved it.
Megan went to her last swimming class tonight. She's done well in Aquaquest 2 and she just received her badge to say she's passed it and that she can now move onto Aquaquest 3. She was so excited. I told her that there are 12 levels to complete for Aquaquest and she just can't wait to do them all.
Today we took Megan to gymnastics, after that we took her to get her hair cut and then for lunch. We did a little shopping after that and then went to see www.madagascar-themovie.com , it was a good movie, a lot of laughs for the kid in all of you. It was a busy day and now we're home relaxing.
We had a wonderful night with our friends Daniela and Kevin. We really relaxed....we ate cheesecake, had conversation and just enjoyed each others company under the stars in front of the chiminea. We had Megan go bed a little earlier then she normally does on a Friday night so we could have adult time....we've never done that before and I have to tell you it was well needed. It's hard to get a word in edgewise when a 4 year old around talking....we love her so much and always want her around but realized that we do need a little adult time.
Today we went to Pucks Farm www.pucksfarm.com on Megans school trip....it was great fun! The weather was fantastic. Megan got to have a ride on a pony, go on a hayride, learn how they make butter, all about animals and a lot more things that you'll see in the other pictures. It was my first trip with the school and I enjoyed myself a lot....I will be doing many more in the years ahead I'm sure. I got to spend time with Megan, meet the other parents and Megans new friends.....what a day!
Megan fell in love with this goat Bubbles....it followed us everywhere today on this trip......she wasn't afraid of it at all.
Who's that milkiing a cow?........Why it's Megan......this was something very different for her....and me
Here is Megan with some of her classmates from BCS
