Quarter Finals Here We Come!

England squeaked out a 1-0 win over Ecuador Sunday to make it into the World Cup quarter finals. Good old Beckham scored the winning goal and onto the quarter finals they go! They haven't played well throughout the cup so far, hopefully they'll pull their socks up and get back momentum.....GO ENGLAND GO!

A bunch of different Stuff

I have been refraining from sitting in front of the computer lately....Earlier this week I blacked out in the car while I was driving, it was a normal feeling of being light headed because I needed to eat or that I was dehydrated, iy was a different black out....pain in the chest then my head started to feel like it was going to explode then black....thank goodness I was siiting in traffic that wasn't moving....I mean I blacked out for seconds I then pulled into a gas station and cried and called Ken...this scared me! I didn't feel to well for the day. I went to the Doctors yesterday at the direction of my husband and that I was really scared....he asked a lot of questions thinking it could be stress, anxiety causing high blood pressure....after taking my blood pressure several times my blood pressure is extremely low....so onto a bunch of tests I go!

Today we went to the Blue Jays game, it was a nice and relaxing day, but the down side was the Jays lost and Megan cried about it, I thought she just cried when she lost.

Yesterday Megan had her last day of gymnastics and has passed and received her ribbon, she will start the next level in September.

Friday was Megans last day of SK....what a moment greeting her at the front of the school (I don't get to do that often because of my hours at work) gotta keep playing the lottery.....lol...then I took her to a pool birthday party. After the party we tok Megan out to The Keg for graduating SK.....my baby's going into Grade 1......oh my.....that means 10 weeks of summer....ahhhhhh!

Anyway I will post some pictures that I have taken from these days someday soon when I feel like doing it! Gotta go and get ready for the week.

Crush??

Well tonight Megan had soccer pictures and practice and since she's started she has been getting to know all the players on her team, well we have now discovered that there is a boy that she now has a "Crush" on.....my baby having a crush, you heard right. I can't believe it either! I asked her if she had a crush on him and she she said yes, I laughed about it which really upset her....she said she had something to tell me but I couldn't make fun of her so she whispered in my ear and said "I actually want to marry him!"

This child of mine is too grown up for her own good. I told her that I had many crushes on boys when I was younger and she asked if her Granny laughed at me, I said yes but I told her that was okay 'cause she was my Mom.

So soccer should be fun every week now because the boy she has a crush on is also following Megan around and smiling at her.....it's too cute but let me tell you Daddy's not too happy he's already had a talk with his Mom......lol

Mmmm Good!

Well tonight we asked Daddy what he wanted for dinner, he said he wanted Lobster, for those of you who don't know Ken has an intolerance to Lobster....so I guess in us saying we gave him what he wanted which was Lobster sounds crazy however it's been 5 hours since he ate it and no ill effect which is great! The only down side to that is that Megan and I will have to share again....lol!

Go Jays Go!

At the end of April Megan raised money for her school by bowling in a bowl-a-thon. She raised the most money for her class which won her tickets to see the Blue Jays play.....Thanks to all of you that sponsored her !

What happens In Vegas stays in Vegas!

This is a picture from my hotel room in Las Vegas. I just came back from spending 3 days there. I went for a seminar for work, but as luckwould have it I was able to get there early Sunday morning....so I did the tourist thing...I went with a co-worker of mine JB and we had a good time. The weather there was 100 degrees. I will post more pictures later.

Wild & Crazy!

This is called the Stratosphere and ther are rides at the top, Insanity which is a swing that suspends you over the edge 883 feet and spins....the other is Xscream which is a teeter totter ride which shoot syou off the edge if the tower jolting you to a stand still over the edge.....let me tell you it is crazy, and I almost chickened out, however I did scream like a baby....thanks to JB she got me on the rides and I'm glad I can say I did something crazy while in Vegas!

Senior Kindergarten Graduate!

Today Megan graduated from "SK"...I missed the official ceremony, but I did attend the chapel which was the rehersal....Ken went along with Aunt Yvonne and Uncle Eldon....the ceremony has been taped and lots of pictures taken as well....I will post more when I get a chance.....way to go my Senior Kindergarten Graduate!

Opening Day!

Today was Opening Day for Megans soccer.....they had a parade then a game which they won 3 - 2......after that they had lunch, and face painting, baloons, crafts, and a jumping castle.....it was a great time, juat a little cool!

Today England had their first game, and although they did not socre they won as their opponent scored on their own goal..........Obviously we're cheering on Jolly Ol England.....Go England Go!
