Track & Field Meet June 2009

Today Megan had her track & field meet at Centennial Stadium. She ran the 1500m which she placed 3rd, adn she also ran the 800m where sshe place 2nd....it was a beautiful day to run, and I had fun watching her and being there to help out. WAY TO GO MEG!

Ethan & his Mommy Visit us!

This weekend we had visitors, Ethan & his mommy Heather. It was great to get to see them. Heather & I were able to sit and gab like we love to do. Megan was in awh of Ethan and just loved him loads. She wanted to mother hen him. She wanted to him, cuddle him & feed him. Ethan what a cutie, and a good little boy. He is crawling when he can get the traction on the floor/carpet, and loves to stand up. So glad for the visit and to finally see them again after almost 4 months....thanks for coming! :)

Soccer 2009

Toniht was the first soccer game for Megan. She has had 2 practices already. She loves soccer and this year she has moved up and is now on an all girls team which she likes a lot better, cause the boys always hogged the ball. Some I hope to update more often on my blog, we'll see if I can keep it up......Oh yeah by the way her team won tonight!! :) Way to go Megan!

Michigan Friends

This past weekend we went down to Michigan to visit my old school friend Cheryl and her family, it was great to get together. The kids get a long well together. The last time we got together was 2 years ago, but the kids picked up right where they left. Such a great time

Finally!

Our friends came over for dinner tonight. They were married September 11, 1999, and after almost 10 years of trying, they are finally expecting. When they told me at the end of January I was so overjoyed, this was happening to 2 people who are so deserving of such joy. You can tell by these photos that Daddy to be Kevin can't wait for his baby to be born, and Mommy well she is thrilled about every feeling that she has that comes along with being pregnant.....I'm sure even the morning sickness she has had. Looking forward to meeting their baby this September, can you imagine a better 10th wedding annversary gift? I couldn't!!

6X6 Monster Truck

We went on a 6X6 Monster truck tour in Punta Cana, it was a fantastic tour getting to visit a local school, a local home where they made cocoa, vanilla extract and other things....also went horse back riding and to Macao beach. What a great time!

A Cruise to Remember

We went on this ship "Freedom of the Seas" last week. Megan didn't know about it at all, it was a surprise. Megan thought we were going to Toronto to the market early in the morning, we pulled into the parking lot near the airport and she asked where we are going, we said we were parking. She got out the car and stood at the back when we opened up the trunk she saw all the suitcases and she said "where are we going?" We said you'll see! We checked in and of coarse she found out we were off to Miami. Once landing we got on a bus and we were following signs to Miami Beach, she thought we were going there. We reached the pier and she saw all the cruise ships lined up and she said, "Mom I wish we could go on one of them someday", and I said "well how about that oneday be today?" Her expression and excitment will never be erased from our memories......she said, "really?" and we said, really! What an exciting start to our holiday!

Aboard the ship was lots to do...mini golf, relaxing, surfing, swimming, watching the circus preform, eating...the rooms was amazing...loved every minute of our holiday away
