Congratulations to the Longtin Family

Today a new baby was born to this world, to Mr & Mrs Jeff & Heather Longtin....a baby boy....his name is Ethan Wyatt born on August 22, 2008 at 3:#2 pm, weighing in at 7lbs 15 ozs and 20 inches long, he is a beautiful bundle of joy! Congratulations guys! :)

Heather and Jeff came by for brunch today, it was great to finally get together! How bad is it that we exchanged our Christmas gifts as well today? That is so bad!!!! But now we've made a pack that it can't be that long between visits and this surely showed all of us how we must get together more often! Heather is due for her baby on August 29/08, not long now! :)

Happy 8th Birthday Megan!

Un-birthday

Today we had Megans "Un-Birthday" celebration with her friends at the movies. We went to see Wall-E. The kids enjoyed themselves. Can't really believe my baby is growing up.

Happy Father's Day!

We woke up on Father's Day in Barrie. We were at a freind's surprise party the night before. We had a great day, we went to breakfast, then went to our friend's Jenn & Seans for a few hours, then back down to Brampton we headed. Once down there we rested for a few hours and then we went out for supper to celebrate Megan's Daddy!

School Trip

I went to the zoo with Megan and her school today. The kids got a chance to pet the stingrays at the exhibit that had. It was really neat to see.

Driving

Megan and Ken took their new Hummer for a spin, Santa brought it for the 2 of them for Christmas, and they were both excited to get it out! Megan did pretty good, but she won't be borrowing my car anytime soon :)

Mother's Day!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day! A nice breakfast made by my husband, a beautiful placemat made by my daughter, and the best was time spent out the 3 of us for dinner, at The Katsura.

Eyes....New?

I know this looks pretty terrible but it's actually pretty awesome....last Friday I had Laser Eye Surgury and am now glasses free after 30 years of wearing them....that's why it's awesome! The procedure was painless, and as soon as it was over (in 12 minutes) I was able to walk out and was able to see....what an amazing feeling! The red is actual brusing (doesn't hurt a bit) from the suction that goes on your eye to make the flap so the can do the laser, it will be gone no longer then 14 days! The neat thing is now that when I go to do something (like put the drops in my eyes) I go to take my glasses off, I recah and they are not there, quite funny really! Well I'll be seeing you around ! :)

Tonight we had to take out Megan's braids she had done in Jamaica, she went from the top pictures to the bottom in 3.5 hours....oh my goodness what a long job that was!!!!

1st Gymnastic Competition

Today was Megan's 1st every gymnastics competition, there were a lot fo gymnasts there.....it was from 1 pm to 5:30 pm (a long day)...after her routines on the uneven basrs, vault, beam abd floor overall she came 2nd earning her a silver medal!!!! She came 1st on the floor, and 2nd on the uneven bars, vault & beam! Way To Go Megan!!!
