Boxing Day
We went to my cousin Pat and Tom's for boxing day. We get together every boxing day with them and it is a special part of Christmas for our family. It has been apart of our Christmas as long I as I can remember. I remember it being held my my Great Aunt MArg and Great Uncle Arthur for many years, and all eating around a pool table made into a table :) There are so many great memories in which I have from those days. I'm glad that boxing day is still a tradition for us as these memories will get instilled in our children. I want to thank Pat & Tom for opening their home once again for Christmas, we really enjoyed ourselves as usual. XXOO

Christmas Concert!
Megan is in Grade 2 and tonight was her Christmas Concert. It was a nice night. Megan is in the choir and they did 3 songs and she did 2 performances with her class. She recited from the bible, by memory Luke 2:1 to 16, as well they sang Silent Night (in sign language as well) and recited John 3:16. We are so proud of her!

What A Weekend!
This weekend is a blurrrrr......it was busy! Busy of me not feeling to well. On Saturday morning I woke up not feeling very well, I was having chest pain, after a few hours Ken made me get in the car and off to the walk-in he took me. The Dr checked me over and said the heart and lungs seem fine and that he believed that maybe my esophagus was having spasms, he gave me a letter to go to the local hospital to get me into emerg quicker. Well if you know the local hospital I'm talking about you know why I didn't go. I decided that I'd go home since I had people due to come over.
That same evening I felt in fine spirits, just some pain....grinned and beared it! The next morning greeted me with the same pain as the morning before, so I got my husband out of bed and off to another hospital we went (a quicker one!) They took me in pretty fast since it was chest pain, they pain in my chest was horried so they had me drink a medical shake (YUCK!) which numbed right down into my stomach, they thought that it was my gallbladder, but after a bad of IV, blood tests (for all vital organs), ECG's and X-Rays they all came back fine. The Dr at the hospital believes it is an ulcer, along with a damaged sphincter. I'm having difficulty eating solid foods now (and if you know me that doesn't make me a happy camper). The Dr at emerg told me I must see my family Dr today, and believe me I've been to see him as I want to eat!
But on a more serious note I am going to have a Barium Xray to see what's going on in the esophagus. Not a good season to have this all happy considering all the meals I have planned! The Dr says the pills I've been given should help in a few days so I can eat! :) Wish Me Luck!
