Happy Thanksgiving!

We went to Downey's Farm as are annual tradition, the weather was a lot different from other years, although it was damp it was sure warm. We picked out a pumpkin, as well as picked up our usual yearly treat of pumpkin donuts (mmm good). We've had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend just the "3"of us. Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

Who Is This???

Yes that is me many a years ago........I remember that dress it was my favorite and the picture was taken for one of my birthday years......and today is another birthday for me, I won't release which birthday it is, it's just another one!

While we were down there we also got to see Jeremy, Ken's son. Megan was really sad to leave him as they adore one another, also Jeremy got a new dog who she fell in love with.

Happy 50th Anniversary!

While we down in PEI we had a 50th wedding anniversary for Ken's parents! It was another busy day meeting a lot of people we hadn't seen since their last anniversary party 10 years ago.

We went to PEI to attend the marriage of Ken's niece Ashton to Devon. It was a great day, and it was great to catch up with many people.

Grade 2 Here I Come!!!

Is this a face of a child that is happy to go back to school or what? She was so excited to go this morning, I just hope this enthusiasm lasts throughtout the Grade 2 year!

Camp Out!

Tonight is camp out night....with the added luxuries as home....DVD player to watch movies with the comfort of being in your own backyard! :)

Aircraft

Today we went ot the airport to watch the planes land that were in the airshow, the top picture is of 3 of the 9 "Snowbirds" and the bottom picture is of the "Mississippi"....I used to go most weekends with my Dad to watch planes land and today brought back memories of that, it was a nice day! :)

Growing Up!

I couldn't resist to stop and take some pictures of my girl just before we went out today....I can't believe how grown up she looks!

2 Weeks Past????

Where have the past 2 weeks gone??? I haven't blogged in a while. What I have I been up to I'm not to sure.......besides work (and I mean work), and being a soccer Mom I can't be sure what's held me back from blogging.....so I've back dated what I think has been going on.

A Wedding Shower

On the 18th I had a wedding shower at my house for the Bride to Be "Heather" It was a great day, good food, good company and a lot of laughs!

Anniversary Dinner...

We went out for our 11th wedding anniversary to The Keg, the 3 of us went, yes we took Megan. It was a nice night out. Ken bought me a beautiful sapphire bracelet and for his bar I bought him 3 bar stools (on order, still not received) :(

11 Years!

11 Years today we were married....so much has happened in those years! I can remember it like it was yesterday....thinking back to that day and the memories it made for us, how special. Happy Anniversary Ken! XXOO

Poor Bird

Well after our efforts the little bird passed away....Megan was so sad...it broke my heart to see her so upset.

Little Bird!

We have this bird house that every year birds make a nest in, this baby bird fell out of the bird house and now the Mommy bird isn't coming to help it....so our little girl feels like she's it's Mommy now....so we have one of her toy containers, and some napkins in it to make it comfy but then we had to feed it, so Megan and Daddy went through the garden gathering bugs so the poor little thing could eat, so Megan went and got the tweezers (I'll have to buy new ones) and then they fed her. Now w have used screen cloth to cover the container, and put it under a small table to avoid any rain fall (if there is any) and now she is sleeping....if anyone doesn't know that Megan has always said she wants to be when she grows up it's a Vet and I think she would be spectacular at it (I am bias)....she has the heart to care for animals, but she might have to big a heart because it would break if anything happens to them.....wish us luck in trying to help this little bird!
